The Fundraising and Communications Division (FCD) is responsible for ensuring Cancer Council Victoria maintains a visible, engaging presence in the community, and to inspire and activate support from the Victorian public. This is achieved through brand building activity, delivery of iconic fundraising events, high volume direct marketing, relationship management of high value supporters, and product sales and royalties through our retail arm.
The Brand and Communications Unit is responsible for managing and optimising the reputation and public profile of Cancer Council Victoria, and our programs, through strategically grounded and creatively bold campaigns, media engagements and PR, corporate events, and partnerships.
About your opportunity
We are seeking a Communications Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Creative Manager, your role is to:
- Leverage audience insights to develop campaign strategies and creative concepts across paid and organic digital channels.
- Collaborate with digital marketing, PR and supporter journey teams to map messaging along campaign journeys.
- Design and deliver communication assets tailored to each channel and media plan.
- Use analytics to performance optimise campaign assets while campaigns are in-market.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- Advanced degree or diploma in Communications Design, digital storytelling, graphic design or another relevant field.
- Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in digital storytelling and applying creative thinking to the development of communications for paid and organic digital channels.
- Training or certification in UX, service design, or digital content strategy is a plus.
