About your opportunity

We are seeking a Research Manager to join the Behavioural Science Division, in a fixed-term parental leave replacement position. Reporting to the Senior Research Fellow, and working closely with the Behavioural Science Division’s Director, your role is to:

  • Manage the development, implementation, analyses and reporting across major tobacco control research and campaign evaluation studies
  • In consultation with other team members, conceive, develop, and implement other original research projects
  • Contribute to strategic planning as a member of CBRC’s tobacco control research team
  • Lead and co-author manuscripts, reports, and conference presentations
  • Lead and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Master’s degree in behavioural science, public health or a related discipline or equivalent, or substantial research and evaluation experience in a research environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in behavioural research design and methods, particularly in working with surveys and experimental studies
  • Demonstrated ability to design and conduct quantitative evaluation research and design survey instruments
  • Ability to draw conclusions from qualitative and quantitative data to provide guidance for prevention policy and/or program development
