Division overview
The Fundraising & Communication Division (FCD) empowers Cancer Council Victoria to be a leader in cancer research, prevention and support. The division creates opportunities for all Victorians to help raise vital funds in ways that are innovative, ethical and cost-effective. It is also responsible for championing research and support programs and elevating the public profile of the Cancer Council through marketing, public relations, advertising, community relations and advocacy.
Sitting within the Supporter Insights and Innovation Unit in the Fundraising & Communications division, the Supporter Engagement team is responsible for the Supporter (Customer) Experience, business insights and innovation, and our supporter care contact function. Constantly in dialogue with supporters and by collaborating across the Division, this unit drives innovation, insights and experience to grow fundraising across existing and new funding streams, supporters and channels.

We are seeking Volunteer Campaign Support Officer/s to join the Supporter Engagement fundraising team
Our ideal candidates are committed to making a meaningful contribution to Cancer Council’s mission to prevent cancer, empower patients and save lives.
These calls are vital points of contact with our most valuable supporters encourages engagement in our fundraising activities, so we can deliver on our goal of reducing the impact of cancer on all Victorians through our research, prevention and support services

We are looking for someone with:
- An excellent telephone manner
- Experience undertaking general administrative tasks
- Data entry experience

The ideal applicants for this volunteering opportunity can commit to at least one day a week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Agreed days and hours are negotiable.
