The People, Leadership and Teams (PLT) division provides several strategic and operational services to the organisation. PLT focuses on the talented and committed people (paid employees and volunteers) who are the driving force behind our success in preventing cancer, empowering people and saving lives.

The Learning & Innovation Hub supports the execution of the Enabling Strategy, Learning Strategy and delivery of Cancer Council Victoria’s mission and strategic goals through:

  • Provision of specialist learning, innovation & organisational development consulting and advisory services,  
  • Development and facilitation of systems-based learning solutions and resources Design, development, maintenance and evaluation of internal and external learning and organisational development solutions, and   
  • Management of learning technologies and learning data analytics and reporting.  

About your opportunity

We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the People, Leadership and Teams Division. Reporting to the Head - Learning and Innovation, your role is to:

  • Develop creative learning solutions using instructional design framework and a learner-centred experience approach.
  • Support the facilitation and management of face-to-face training and workshops.
  • Develop and maintain innovative online learning and multimedia resources.
  • Support learning technologies including the Learning Management System (LMS).

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in the design, development and evaluation of innovative learning experiences and multimedia resources. 
  • Experience in leading and facilitating face-to-face training sessions and workshops
  • Experience in using learning and graphic design technologies including Articulate, LMS’ and Adobe Creative. 
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship and communication skills.

  • Base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 11.5% superannuation
