People, Leadership and Teams (PLT) Division provide a range of strategic and operational services to the organisation. The team focusses on the talented and committed people (employees and volunteers) who are the driving force behind our success in reducing the impact of all cancers for all Victorians.

About your opportunity

We are seeking a People Officer to join the People, Leadership and Teams Division. Reporting to the People Coordinator your role is to:

  • Assist with financial processes, senior leadership support and document preparation
  • Maintain HRIS/LMS, produce reports, and ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Manage Help desk tickets, respond to inquiries and coordinate team inboxes
  • Support recruitment, training and awards; drive process improvements
  • Foster collaboration and build relationships

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven ability to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with systems and procedures.
  • Strong multitasking skills in fast-paced, customer-focused environments, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experienced with HRIS/CRM systems for managing workflows and data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and build rapport with stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, maintaining accuracy in records and prioritising tasks effectively.
