The Corporate Services Division incorporates governance, finance, legal, risk, information technology, property and logistics. The focus of the Division is to ensure Cancer Council’s Corporate Services operate to the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness to ensure compliance and support the organisation to deliver on its Strategic Priorities.

Part of Corporate Services Division, the Technology team includes Digital services, Operations, Change Management and CRM teams.  We work closely with the Victorian Cancer Registry (VCR) Division to ensure that the VCR captures high quality data and expands its datasets to improve the quality of information collected by the VCR.

About the opportunity

We are transforming our Cancer Registry ecosystem, and this role will play a key role in delivering our future platform.

 

We are seeking a Registry Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Services Division Reporting to the Service Delivery & Operations Manager, your role is to:

 

  • Work closely with users and stakeholders to gather, understand, and document their requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that new systems or system enhancements meet user requirements and are free of defects.
  • Provide support in the installation and maintenance of Registry hardware, peripherals, software, and computer systems. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with staff within CSD and VCR, as well as other CCV Divisions and teams

Some of the experiences and criteria that we’re looking for include:

  • Tertiary degree in technology or computer science and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, preferably of an IT implementation environment.
  • Effective communication skills and experience in building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in Electronic Medical Records and/or related clinical/registry health systems.
  • Flexible, ability to adapt to change quickly and able to work with ambiguity.
