The Fundraising and Communications Division creates ways for people to play their part in saving lives and reducing the impact of cancer. We raise funds from generous Australians to support Cancer Council Victoria to achieve its mission of empowering people, saving lives and preventing cancer.

About Your Opportunity

We are looking for a new Individual Giving Lead to join our highly engaged team. You will love being part of mass marketing and fundraising initiatives, be a whizz with data and spreadsheets to keep track of performance and nail budgeting. And you’ll work with the Individual Giving Manager and other colleagues to support managing the development and implementation of the Individual Giving strategy to grow our supporters and income.

Your role is to:

  • Lead campaigns to acquire new supporters, increase sustainable new income streams in digital and offline channels and deliver strategic KPIs.
  • Develop and manage integrated fundraising campaigns across multiple channels using data driven insights to drive growth, efficiencies and innovation.
  • Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager and other colleagues to grow and nurture a successful regular giving program.

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field and/or experience in fundraising direct marketing, regular giving and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing successful direct marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Great with data and analysis, and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Results focussed with the ability to manage a broad workload, with a focus on delivering key day-to-day tasks while working towards the big picture.
